One Day Fire Safety, Pressure Ulcer Management, Infection Prevention and Control

This intensive one day course is essential for all healthcare professionals hoping to work in a Trust Setting. Fire Safety Awareness, Pressure Ulcer Management, and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) will be completed in one day.

Fire safety training is an essential component of workplace safety. This course will equip employees with the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, prepare for, and respond to fires in the workplace. Candidates will have an opportunity to work a fire extinguisher.

Pressure Ulcer Management covers a wide range of topics, including the causes and risks of pressure ulcers, identification, and assessment of pressure ulcers and strategies for preventing pressure ulcers.

Infection Prevention and Control: upon completion of the course the candidate will have an appreciation of the role they play in contributing to  infection control and prevention, and be able to implement good practice in the workplace.
