 Demonstrate appr
 opriate infection control principles when administering injections.
 Safe
 ly and effectively administer injections (intramuscular and subcutaneous) 
 in adults under Patient Specific Direction.
 Define role and responsibili
 ties of the health care assistant/worker administering vaccinations via in
 jection.
 Describe immunisation procedures for administration of vaccinat
 ions.
 Explain storage and cold chain.
 Describe action to take if a pat
 ient has an anaphylactic reaction.
